Alison Stevenson is a comedian and writer based in Los Angeles, CA. She has performed at various venues across the country including the San Francisco Punchline, the Purple Onion, NerdMelt, the 2012 Too Much Funstival in Denver, CROM in Omaha, and the Savage Henry comedy festival in Humboldt.
Her comedy has been featured on Grantland, Huffington Post, Splitsider, and Jezebel. Paste listed her 8th in their list of the 75 best Twitter accounts of 2015. She has also made a notable appearance on Dan Savage’s “Lovecast” and was a featured panelist on “Huffington Post Live”. Her debut television appearance occurred on the Viceland stand up series, “Flophouse”.
On top of stand up, she has a widely-read column on VICE called “Girl Writer” wherein she wrote several viral articles which garnered national media attention. The majority of these pieces have also been translated for VICE’s various international outlets.
She is also member of the video sketch group, Blessed. Blessed is a trio of female comedians who together have created several online videos as well as put on a monthly live comedy show at the Hollywood Improv Lab aptly called Blessed.
