Biography

LeeAnn Tooker is an LA based comedian and actress. As a stand-up, LeeAnn writes strong and original material that reveals the thoughts of her over-analytical brain, and she shares this perspective on stage to the delight of audiences. She has performed in the largest touring comedy festival - the renowned Seattle International Comedy Competition and has worked as audience warm-up for Adam Carolla´s “The Car Show”. LeeAnn has performed both with Lisa Sundstedt´s “Pretty Funny Women” and in Queen Aishah’s “Funny in Stilettos”. She was also host & creator of ‘LeeAnn Tooker is Not Crazy’, a 50-episode podcast with comedian interviews.

Additionally, LeeAnn had a fun 2-year role as On-Air Personality and Assistant Producer for Generation U Radio, a Hip-Hop based mixed format internet radio/television show. LeeAnn has had various comedic roles and both wrote and performed sketch comedy as a member of the sketch group Basic Genius. LeeAnn continues her pursuits in comedy and is currently studying Improv at Groundlings Theater and actively pursuing more comedic acting roles. She’ll make you laugh anywhere, so you can also find her bringing the funny in comedy clubs (The Comedy Store, The Improv, The Laugh Factory, Comedy Union, among others), casinos, bars, (a party boat once!), and the occasional family reunion.
