Headlining local shows and featuring for national acts in New Orleans, Baton Rouge and Mississippi; Skip Guidry is ready to blow up in 2010.

A former marketing executive and mortgage banker Skip Guidry is a relative new comer to stand up. Skip had a break out performance at the 2009 New Orleans Comedy Arts Festival wining a feature slot in a "Stand-up Smack Down" edging out 40 local comics. Skip also made the final 4 out of 75 of the 2009 Baton Rouge Funny Bone Comedy Club version of The Last Comic Standing.


Movies: Skip was a featured performer in the 2009 Documentary Film "Summa Comics" about
stand up comedy in New Orleans.

TV: Skip has appeared on ABC's Good Morning New Orleans yes as a comedian, not a witness to a murder

Skip is the house comic and booker for the Comedy Depot in McComb, MS and is the host of the open mike at Sidney's on the West Bank of New Orleans Metro's longest running comedy venue.
